Recipe to Re-Energize.
--------------------The ultimate recipe to live by.
-2 lb. balanced meals, especially breakfast, consisting of lean protein, low glycemic load carbohydrates with an emphasis on fruits and vegetables
-1 lb. unencumbered sleep; let it rest for eight hours
-1 lb. exercise, cut into equal chunks
-1/2 lb. eliminating unnecessary medications
-1/2 lb. stress reduction
-1/3 lb. individualized dietary supplements
-2 T. Magnesium Glycinate
-2 T. CoQ10 (especially if taking these medications)
-1 tsp. safe detox (once or twice yearly)
-Dash of epigenetic harmony (consume epigenetically friendly substances such as cruciferous veggies, fish oil/cod liver oil, vitamin D, garlic, folate/B-6/B-12 combo, probiotics, organic whey protein, green tea, and nuts/seeds/olive oil/red wine (staples of the Mediterranean diet).
-Add filtered water, tea, coffee, green drinks, and alternative milks to taste.
Directions: mix all ingredients into a large daily lifestyle bowl and let marinate for the next 100 years!

Jicama Root is a legume from the yam bean family grown in Mexico and Central America. Jicama's uncharacteristically sweet flavor is due to its high inulin (fiber) content. Jicama is wonderful for snacks, in salads, or as an appetizer with dip. Kids love it. Highlights:
Top Nutrients for Headache Relief.
--------------------Recent data has shed light on several supplemental nutrients for managing headache and migraine pain:
Magnesium - this should come as no surprise to anybody. Magnesium is a nerve conductor, anti-inflammatory mediator, and vasodilator. A calcium:magnesium ratio imbalance can modulate serotonin receptors adversely. 300-400 mg. total magnesium daily is suggested for an adult.
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) - 400 mg. taken after onset of symptoms reduced the numbers of days with headache by half. Lower dose of B2 in a B-Complex daily may act as a preventative.
Co-Enzyme10 - deficiency of CoQ10 reduces energy metabolism and is common in pediatric and adolescent migraines; 300 mg. daily reduced attack frequency by 47.6%.
Butterbur - 50-75 mg. reduced migraine frequency and severity between 36-48% over four month period. Substance can be highly reactive in allergic individuals.
CoQ10, Mag, and B2 are ideal to be used as a combination to thwart headaches and migraines. Using Butterbur is dependent on the individual's pension for intolerance/allergy.
